Trip to Coventry Cathedral

An enjoyable day was spent by a number in the parish on a trip to Coventry Cathedral which included a very meaningful service.

Visit by Bishop Alan

Bishop Alan visited St Georges Church followed by St Mary Magdalene Latimer where he blessed and dedicated the new church hall. He was a blessing and encouragement to all who met him.

Cambodia Mission

Two members from St Michaels went to Cambodia on a mission team with Mission Direct to build a house on stilts for a destitute family in a village across the Mekong River near Phnom Penh. Opportunity was also taken to work with local churches and with outreach on the slums and rubbish dump. Thanks to  all the members of the benefice who contributed to this work in Cambodia. Every pound goes a long way in helping there. If anyone wants to know more or feels lead to go on a mission, have a word with David or Mike Lawtpn. You will never be the same. We realised afterwards that it we had been out to the highways and byways. The help was wholly appreciated and the Good News of the gospel is really effective in Cambodia !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
